Frequently asked questions
Is PassNavi legal advice?
No. PassNavi is a tool you operate yourself. We compile your personal document list and explain the steps. We do not review your individual case and do not give legal advice. For legal questions, consult a lawyer.
Does PassNavi submit my application?
No. You submit the application yourself at your authority. We show you exactly how.
How do I know if I can be naturalized?
You check that for free with your authority's official quick-check. PassNavi then helps you prepare the documents.
Is the information current?
We review the requirements regularly against the official sources. Every list shows the date of the last review.
What does naturalization itself cost?
The state fee is €255 per adult and €51 per minor child naturalized along with you. You pay these directly to the authority.
Which languages are available?
PassNavi is available in six languages: German, English, Arabic, Turkish, Russian and Ukrainian. Official document names always stay in German so they match what the authority expects.
What if my list contains a mistake?
That's what our voluntary correction guarantee is for: contact us within 14 days of purchase and describe the error — we'll correct your list free of charge or refund the purchase price on request. The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply because, at your explicit request, we begin preparing your list immediately (§ 356(5) German Civil Code). Details are in our cancellation policy.
Does PassNavi store my data?
We store as little as possible — your answers to create your list and your email for delivery. More in our privacy policy. You do not upload documents to us.
